We invite you to share your story! What has worked, what hasn't and tools that make the job easier! The Cold Climate Construction Conference & Expo will provide a forum for industry representatives to present leading edge technologies in engineering, construction, energy efficiency, workforce productivity, and many other aspects impacting cold regions. The sessions will feature tools, techniques and technologies that focus on maximizing winter constructability in areas including:

  • Energy Efficiency
  • Work Force Productivity
  • Mining Materials
  • Oil & Gas
  • Winter Construction
  • Personal Safety & Clothing
  • Pipelines
  • Transportation
  • Infrastructure
  • GPS

Abstracts should be no more than 300 words in length and must clearly identify the sector, title, authors, affiliation(s) and contact information.

Abstracts are to be submitted no later than November 15th, 2009, via email only to: presentations@coldconstruction.ca.

The selection of presentations will be based on submitted abstracts reviewed by a panel of peers. Presentations must fit into 30 minute time slots.

Successful applicants will be notified by email by December 1st, 2009.

Presenters will receive complimentary admission for the day they are presenting.

Full presentations must be submitted by February 1st, 2010.

Abstracts will appear in the Symposium program.

Full presentations will be compiled on a CD of proceedings and distributed to delegates.
